Permanent makeup

Ombre powder brows, in Kamloops.

A soft, powdered brow, deeper through the tail and lighter at the front, so it reads like a brow that has been gently filled in rather than one drawn on. The shape is mapped to your own features, and we agree on the colour together before any pigment goes in.

How it works

Soft shade, not hair strokes

Ombre powder brows are a permanent makeup technique that builds colour as a soft shade rather than as individual lines. The pigment is deeper through the tail and lighter at the front, so the result reads like a brow that has been gently filled in rather than one drawn on with hair strokes.

Why the powdered finish suits more skin

Because the pigment sits as a soft shade rather than fine lines, it holds up well on a wider range of skin types, including oilier skin, where hair stroke techniques tend to blur.

The shape is mapped to your face

I map the shape against your own features rather than working from a template, and we agree on the colour together. Nothing goes in until you are happy with both, and that conversation is the part of the appointment worth taking your time over.

Two appointments, not one

It is done across two appointments. The first sets the shape and the colour. The second is a follow up that refines the result once your skin has fully healed.

Twenty years as a medical esthetician, and the same pair of hands at both appointments. Nobody hands you on to someone else for the follow up.

The appointment

How it is done

This one is not finished in a single sitting, and it does not start with pigment. It starts with a conversation about the shape and the colour you want.

Mapping and colour

We begin by mapping the shape against your own features, so the brow suits your face rather than a shape someone else is wearing, and we agree on the colour together. No pigment goes in until that is settled.

The first appointment

The first appointment sets the shape and the colour we agreed on, building the soft powdered fill that sits deeper through the tail and lighter at the front.

The follow up

The second appointment refines the result once your skin has fully healed. It is part of the treatment rather than an extra, and we book it when your skin is ready for it.

Free consultation

See the shape before you decide anything

Permanent makeup is worth being certain about, so the consultation is where it should start. We can look at your brows, talk through the shape and the colour, and you can go away and think about it. Tell me how to reach you and what you have in mind.

  • A proper look at your skin, in person
  • An honest plan, in the order that makes sense
  • You decide what, if anything, comes next
